A man was rushed to a Phoenix hospital after being shot in the chest at a north Phoenix apartment.

The shooting happened at about 12:40 p.m. at the Oakwood Paradise Lakes Apartments, near 7th Street and Greenway Parkway.

There is no word yet on the man's condition or the motive for the shooting.
