What happened to the color on my flat screen televison??!!!??

Hi. I just bought this 20'' Memorex Television. It is a flat screen and it is brand new. I have Time Warner Cable and after I connected the cables the color is black and white! I have tried everything, I even fiddled with the cables and it just won't work! Someone help!! Best answer is 10 points.... I would really appreciate it cause I really have no idea what to do.

The problem may be with the source, the TV, or the cables

So try to eliminate one at a time.

Connect the cable box and a DVD or other source. Is the problem with both? Then you have a cable or TV problem. If not, it is a source problem.

Change the cables - Any change? No - TV problem

If you use component, switch red/green - any change? yes - cable problem, No, TV problem.

Try all possible inputs: component, composite, s-video. Any change?

If all fails or points to a TV problem, take it back for an exchange or warranty service.
