  1. They will be no longer avaliable in the next few months or so, as the sales for Blu-Ray are so high, while the HD-DVD sales are not. This resulted in a major company, i think it was Panasonic, to stop dispatching HD-DVD Players. Shame really.

  2. I am asking the same question! But it seems to me, Blue Ray has taken over! But what's so good about blue ray?

  3. hd dvd is dead format. No more new films will be released in hd dvd which is sad because it was the superior format but it didn't have the cool name.

  4. More movie production companies, and many retailers along with Blockbuster and NetFlix have decided to go exclusively with Blu Ray. If not now, in the near future. Due to consumers being confused about so many options, they decided to make the switch to Blu Ray. A few production companies are sticking with HD DVD for now, but it is just a matter of time before they switch. Blu Ray is almost tripling HD DVD sales, so it appears imminent. Also, in about 3 years, it will likely be, exclusively Blu Ray.

  5. Blu ray won the battle over hd dvd. My friend has an Hd DVD player and hes mad cuz they dont make HD DVD's anymore
