no, stop it! you can cumstomize your new page. you can put the news you want to read on it. for example, you could find out about a sale at macys before anyone else. its just cool like that.

I think you're talking about 'yahoo classic' there is something that you can click on to bring it back.  I believe it's in the upper left hand corner of the yahoo home page.
