What happened to the poughkeepsie tapes?

i saw a trailer for it a while ago & it was suppose to be out in the movies sometime & i haven't seen or heard anything about it, does anyone know what happened?

  1. The movie was originally supposed to be released on Feb. 8th but there were some unidentified delays that prevented it from happening.  The movie release has been rescheduled for October 1st.
