What happened to yahoo categories?

Yahoo categories made yahoo great. if they brought them back, they could also have users submit sites they think are good. it could be a combination of user and professional input

  1. I don't know what happened to Yahoo categories.  The closest thing they seem to have now is the yahoo directory.

    They do let you submit your own site.
