What happened with the Lion on the loose in Denver, CO?

This was a story on the web a couple of weeks ago (around 7/14/08?). I cannot seem to find any outcome to the story. Were the pictures debunked? Was the lion captured? Please let me know.

My understanding is that it was tranquilized, and sent to the zoo.
