The boat was purchased a year ago and titled, but never registered. Now if it is registered a year later will there be any fines or anything?

  1. You'll probably get about a 10% penality, but if you can prove that the boat wasn't operable then they may wave the fee.

  2. The devil himself appears and takes your boat to h**l. MUAAAHHHH!!!

  3. People should put where they are at if you want the most accurate answers.  In Florida, you have to pay the registration fees for back years not registered, I believe it is up to 3 years only, just tell them you were rebuilding the engines...all thought they probably Will not care.

  4. Depends on where you live, but around here, they charge you a penalty for it, just like a motor vehicle.  You might talk to a boat dealer in your area for a better idea.
