Ok imagine if there was no lava or such stuff and it was just hollow u would fall into the middle correct becaus your falling down but when you reach the other side you would no longer be falling and be climbing so would you not die if you fell down to the center of the earth and instead just float?

  1. It is where the center of gravity will be zero.

  2. I had this exact conversation with a friend the other week, we were stoned.

  3. The Oompa Loompas make candy!

  4. i agree

  5. what? i dotn understand what your saying but the earth was just made with gravity in the center

  6. your reported buddy!

  7. Well, If you were under the religious catagory, they would say that h**l is there, but imagining there is no fire and brimstone, I would think it would be like when you try to stand in the center of a merry go round when its spinning real fast,  If you got to the exact center you would probably float.

  8. If the insides of the earth were not there and it was hollow, there would be no gravity, so you would not fall anywhere.

  9. wrong wrong and wrong... read the bible if you want to know what happens in the center of the earth... or just kill yourself which i recomend you not do but that choice is up to you. the center of the earth is h**l :)

  11. it would probably mean its the centre of where gravity is

  12. the doctor lives there

  13. hmmm u have one heck of an imagination!lol what lead you to think about this

  14. Dunno,

    Wait. I'll go check

    .....tick....tock....tick....tock

Hey i'm bbaaak!! i frm Chiiiina!!!!

    LOL!

  15. whether theres lava or not, there is a thing called the law of gravity which pulls us to the center of the earth. You cannot be falling nor climbing because our standing ( erect position ) is not based on the same standing/erect-ness of the earth. To simply put it let's just say our feet is stepping parallel to the center of the earth not perpendicular, that is why you cant fall nor climb

  16. The inner core of the Earth is a primarily solid sphere about 1220 km in radius. Its diameter is only about 70% that of the Moon, and it may be hotter than the Sun's surface. The inner core is a solid ball of nickel and iron, which has the pressure of the whole Earth situated at Earth's center.

Therefore, you can't walk in it, there is no up nor down, you'd be pulled towards the center. You'd also be dead.

  17. That is where the aliens live.... ")

  18. Yes, probably.

  19. Actually if you could make a tube that passed through the centre of the earth then the weight of an object at the centre would be zero as the force of gravity acting is the force inside a sphere of radius R, since R=0 F=0. but if you then started climbing out it would get ever harder as the mass inside the sphere defined by your distance from the core is getting ever greater. If you fell there you would be accelerating at an ever slower rate until you passed the core and were in effect shooting outwards but air resistance would reduce the acceleration so you wouldn't have enough kinetic energy to overcome the attraction of the planet and could not quite shoot back out of the hole but would stop somewhere inside the planet before heading back to the centre in an ever decreasing oscillation until you eventually stopped at the core.
