  1. Water level of the oceans would rise. A sudden influx of freshwater into the northern Atlantic ocean would shutdown the thermo-haline cycle, leading to a stoppage of the ocean currents that bring mild temperatures to Europe.

The loss of ice would affect the Ice-Albedo feedback loop. If ice coverage decreases, more energy is absorbed by earth and temperatures would rise from this.

It's hard to give a definitive answer to this because different parts of the world would be affected differently. Also, the two scenarios I listed are just a couple of the many changes that could occur.

  2. there is an armband crisis

  3. we would swim underwater

  4. The Polar bears will be in trouble.

  5. We would be dead before they all melt.

  6. I give up, what happens?

  7. There will be no water in the rivers of India and China during the dry seasons, since these are recharged by the melting of the Himalaya glaciers.

Under business as usual, this may well happen in our children's lifetimes.

  8. You would die.
