What happens after you finish the fire academy?

I want to know what happens after you graduate from the academy? Do they assign you to a fire station?

well... when you graduate from a police academey you are immediately assigned to the department that hired you and paid you to go through it.  If you put yourself through... then you have to go find your own job and put down on you application that you have been thru the academy.  dont know about fire stuff.

Depends on the department.

Some you will attend EMT and paramedic school before graduating the academy and some after.

Usually once you have all of your required certifications you are going to work, and that is at a fire station.
