  1. Wow! You are up late or else up early! :-)

The medical check up has to be done by what they call a civil surgeon. You have to take off all your clothes & have a general physical. It is in fact done by immigration official. You cannot just go to your local GP/MD. You have to go to a civil surgeon & a civil surgeon by definition is immigration official. Be aware that there is zero Doctor Patient confidentiality unlike when meeting with a regular Dr.

You are made to strip naked & are asked all kinds of degrading questions & exams. It’s not that the civil surgeons are not nice people; it is how the system is set up that they are required to ask such questions & do these things. As an British person you will have had at least one if not several BCG injections (immunizations against TB), they make you have a PPD test regardless & majority of people will have strong negative reactions to the test at it will show up positive (as is expected because there is a history of BCG). I have know several people that have been perfectly healthy until they had their civil surgeon appointments but ended up having to go see their own doctors to get care for the problems caused by the testing done! When they give you the skin test & it shows positive then you will have an x-ray on your lungs.

You have to have immunization records for:

    Tetanus

    Varicella (chickenpox)

    MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)

There are other immunizations that are mentioned on supplement to form I-693 but you do NOT have to have these immunizations. It is work noting that if you can not track down evidence that you have had the shots you can have blood work done that proves you have had them done. The just draw blood & test for antibodies. This is far healthier for your body than repeating shots you have had already.

So yeah, you have all together just three medical tests, HIV & syphilis by blood & TB by skin & possibly x-ray. No urine test is done. (Well ok, maybe if you need to do the chest x-ray & think you may be pregnant they may do a urine test then to see if you are pregnant & not safe to be x-rayed).

There was a change in law in the last couple of months, people with HIV/AIDS used to be automatically denied but this is no longer the case.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this!

  2. The Us has to check you for any disease you might be carrying and you have to disrobe so  We Americans can see how small your p***s is and have a good laugh.
