What happens at a paternity testing hearing?

my husband requested a paternity test for our unborn child, we have court today and i am nervous, just wondering if someone might know what happens at the hearing? is it one on one with the judge or is there a room full of people? aaaahhh... please help

  1. I've not been to an actual hearing, especially one where the child in question is unborn. I have had friends go through it, though. From what I know, the mother pays the costs up front and the father must reimburse her if he is in fact the father. And most of the time, he is required to pay back child support (about eight weeks, I think or at least as long as the results were pending). Best of luck!
