What happens at bachelorette parties?

My sister is getting married in a couple of months and my girlfriend is going to her bachelorrette party. since I'm not educated on this, can anyone tell me what goes on here and should I not be comfortable with her going?

They range from simple and laid back just dinner or time at a spa  to bar hopping drink fests.  You can ask your sister what is planned for hers.

just kidding.. depends on where they are going or what kind of night it is.. you dont have anything to worry about regardless.. the focus is on the bachelorette the whole night.

It depends on the bachelorette party. I guess, if I were you, I would talk with her about your expectations and if you have any concerns. For example, my FI went to a bachelor party last year and his friends bought him some lap dances and I wasn't too happy about it. However, I didn't explicitly tell him that I would not be comfortable with that, so he didn't know...

If you have certain things that are off bounds for you, then you need to talk to her.

Firs of all - I am guy and have never been on one, but I have run into them while out myself and hung out with them.

It depends on the girls that she's going with.  Some are really tame but I've seen a few that I would never want my sister a part of.  If you know the friends who are throwing the party then you should be have a pretty good idea of what will go on.  Also, just trust your gf to not get out of control even if the others do.

Most of the bachelorette parties I've attended were pretty much just bar hopping and dancing and that sort of thing. Nothing immoral went on. I wouldn't be too worried.

It depends.... some girls like to go to male strip clubs (which are nothing like women strip clubs) and others like to go to dinner or just go to a club.  For my friends bachelorette party we went to see Hunkamania which was REALLY FUN!  They had male strippers there and everyone had a good time... but it's nothing like getting a lap dance at a woman strip club ( I think those are worse because I've heard what goes on in there).
