  1. Contact eBay about the seller and hopefully they can help you with settling the dispute.

The seller cannot take more money out of your paypal account. you sent the payment to their paypal - i.e. they did not take it out of your account - so the only way they would be able to get more money out of your account is if you sent it.

    good luck!

  2. ~~Disputing the charge was a great first step. Next if you used a credit card dispute the charge with them as well. If it was through your checking account, dispute the charge with your bank. Keep contacting the seller. Get the mailing address and send them a certified letter explaining due to not receiving the item you are in the process of having the charges removed. You are also elegible to take them to small claims in your area (because that's where the financial transaction took place, if you do not get your money back. Last but not least, give her the negative rating on Ebay-so other buyers can beware. That really hurts the seller. Good luck!

  3. I have shopped on ebay a lot so I have run into a similar experience where the seller seemed so legitimate and professional with their e-bay store and than virtually disappeared the next day!!!! Most of the time E-Bay will go to great lengths to make sure you get your money back because they cannot afford a huge nationwide lawsuit which eventually will happen if they are not controlling their sellers properly!!! Take action now with e bay disputes. I wish you much luck as I despise crooks!!!!!!!

  4. It depends on the type of seller that you bought from.  Paypal and Ebay have merged so I believe that Paypal would cover any dispute, but depending on the seller's rating that will depend on what you will be able to claim.  I believe if the seller has fewer than 100 or 200 fb then your claim is covered up to 200 and over that amount of fb it's up to 2000.

But, the seller should not be able to take any money out of any of your accounts without your permission.  Also, if you paid via paypal and paid via a credit card, you may be able to contact the credit card company and ask about them to do a charge back.

    Good luck!

  5. that would stink...

    i don't know..

i THINK THAT YOU HAVE TO DEAL..i DON'T KNOW WITH PAYPAL THOUGH..

  6. If you used PayPal.Yes.You will get your money back after about 30 days.

  7. Instead of suing ebay... which would be a loss of time. First I would recommend contacting the seller and asking about the item. I hope there was a loss and damage insurace on the item which makes it the sellers fault if its lost. If you didn't do this your out of luck yet, but then you could contact ebay wrtting them a proffesional letter about the seller and what happened.. Hope they wil blacklist him and atleast pay half of the cost... chances are 50/50

  8. no he cant take anymore money out of the acount. You need to call the ebay people and tell them i hope u still have the recipt....and if u wanted to you could actualy take them to court...but

  9. same thing happened to my uncle. sounds like you got ripped off. good luck!

  10. I had the same problem with amazon.com. I eventually emailed amazon directly informing them of the issue and they refunded my money. If that doesn't work is there a way to stop payment on a paypal account like you could with a regular credit card?

  11. You should report it. If you didn't pay through pay pal you lost your money. always use pay pal!!

  12. If you paid by PayPal, you will get your money back.  They continue to hold the person's bank and/or credit info until disputes are settled.

  13. no you wont.

  14. They can't take more money out of your account.

But, keep asking Paypal if they can reverse the charge. That works with credit cards sometimes.

  15. Ive never used ebay before and i dont really trust

it. but to make sure this never happens again

find a dealer with alot of good feedback from

    their customers

  16. Contact the customer service if there is one. The person on there is scamming you and they just wanted money. Check on the website and see if you can get your money back. I wish you luck!

  17. I  had  simulair  problem  last  week  but  my seller  has  been in  contact.  I  agreed  to  wait  3  more  days  for  arrival and he  was  going  to trace.  I contacted  again  and  now  said  he  will refund.  Next  day  got  E  from  Pay Pal  of  refund  request  but hasnt  got back to  bank yet.

  18. If you payed through paypal, you are insured up to $2000 dollars. Report the item as not received and contact both paypal and ebay via the telephone have the auction/item info handy. Paypal will figure out the money end of it and you should receive a refund within 4-6 weeks and ebay will handle the person who listed the auction and take care of all the legal stuff. Don't worry, the seller cannot take more money out of your account. All incoming and outgoing money must either be represented by an invoice or be approved by the buyer. Good Luck I hope this helps.

  19. If you paid with paypal, you will win for sure. They'll give you a full refund.  It's good you knew enough to file the dispute.

  20. Then ur screwed

  21. sue the seller

  22. They only have access to the amount of the product they are selling.Paypal is kind of like a middle man.I would def contact ebay. They will handle it and refund your money..May take a while tho to investigate it.

  23. maybe it got lost in shipping or the seller for got to ship it... email the seller to find out, u should get a full refund

  24. I don't think they can.. so no.

  25. report it asap and they will get in troble

  26. sometimes they can, so call your banker and tell them what happened (you've been defrauded) and to change your bank account number, etc just to be on the safe side. then complain to ebay & your bank and hope they can find the person and somehow get you your money back. sorry that happened. it nearly happened to me once i was trying to buy a present for someone and this guy really started to act up so i just decided not to pay for the item at all and thank God i changed my mind. he started writing me cursing and demanding i pay. then he deleted his account but before that i had checked him out and realised he had created about 10 different accounts and had left positive feedback for himself over and over to bring up his rating... what freaks there are out there...

  27. If you paid through Paypal, you should be able to get your money back.  If you didn't, the fact that the account no longer exists is a problem.  It means that there were other complaints against this seller.

  28. report to the ebay head person.

    or tell your local counsellor

    tata.

  29. The seller sounds like a thief.  I would cancel you account to be double sure he won't take anything but I'm pretty sure they can't.  You probably won't get your money back but you can contact eBay and they may have a way to help and possibly get your money back.

  30. he cant take money out of your account because thats paypals business but paypal might be able to help you out

  31. you got ripped off and need to report them
