What happens if I dial *67?

I dialed it and it rang so I was wondering what it does and what happens if I let it ring? I am not sure of these *6 numbers. What about *69 what if I let that one ring what will happen?

I'm not sure who your carrier is, but if you dial *67 on my phone it explodes and if I dial *69..........

*67 is supposed to be so that you can block your number from call display. It usually doesn't cost anything. *69 tells you who just called or calls the last number that called you, and usually costs money.

*67 on most phone carriers allows you to block your number from being shown on the receiver's caller ID on a per call basis.
