Question:

What happens if I don't get accepted into a dentistry school?

I want to become either an orthodontist or pediatric dentist, but I'm a little worried that after receiving my bachelor's degree in biology, I won't get accepted into a dentistry school. Then what?

Also, is there a difference between what must be achieved in order to become both?

What are the differences?

Do I take different classes, go to a specific school?

I need a little guidance.

  1. If you don't get in then, you should reapply again. During your time off, you should study harder for your DAT, probably get your masters in public health or a masters in biology, so you look like a better candidate. with a B.S. in Biology, you cannot do too much but be a lab tech and they do not get paid well.

There is a difference between the two professions in that you do different residency programs which is after the 4yrs of dental school. So in dental school, you take the same classes with everyone else. Good Luck.

  2. Then you make hamburgers for a living????
