What happens if I don't refrigerate a special Hot Sauce

I bought Mango Habenero, and left it open overnight in cabinet, then I ate some on chicken cutlet, my stomach is in so much pain & bloating. It says to refrigerate after opening. (MANGO- fruit)

it may be the chicken making you sick, also. i've never had problems not refrigerating hot sauces, but i could be wrong. most of the time, those labels protect the company from frivolous lawsuits like the mcdonalds hot coffee thing some years back.

I have eatin food that says refrigerate after opening and have been fine after it was left out overnight. If it is something like hot sauce it really can't be that bad. Take some pepto bismal drink some coke or sprite. You shouldn't worry.
