  1. You will become malnourished,  Your body will burn calories at first, then start conserving them in a a state of starvation.  When you start to eat again, you metabolism will still be in a slow state, so you will put more weight on rapidly as an attempt to survive.

  2. I heard somewhere that since 1970, Americans have increased their caloric intake in beverages alone by 90%.

Really water is the ONLY thing we should be drinking. All I drink is water and green tea. Sugary drinks are awful for you and are needless because they provide no sustenance whatsoever. Water is the freshest, purest, most natural thing we can put in our bodies and it does so much for our health while other drinks do so little.

Drinking water won't make you "skinny" though. That requires a healthy, balanced diet, and good every day exercise. Drinking no other beverages but water will certainly help in that endeavor though.

  3. you'll pass out from lack of nutrients. You'll become ill. Not a smart choice.

  4. uh yeh but eventually you would die! you can not survive for that long on water alone...im assuming you mean that you would not eat anything.....would be really dangerous for your body and not a good way to loose weight!

  5. you'll be able to fly.

    JK

more energy, lose lots of weight.

    feel better all/every day.

    less acne.

    strong immune system.

    all kinds of benefits.

  6. lol, it's not a cure for obesity fatty...Diet...Your body need nutrients, you will be hydrated well though.

  7. You'll become hypo-osmotic.  Your cells will swell and your bp will go up.  Your body will compensate for this by losing electrolytes.  If you're going to drink nothing but water you should make it iso-osmotic to your blood.

  8. Danny- Yes, you would become really skinny, right.  However, you might well develop serious health complications as weight loss and starvation progress. Starvation affects all areas of the body, including the heart.  You can develop an irregular heartbeat known as sinus bradycardia (a low heart rate of less than 50 beats per minute) or if it damages the heart to this extent, you should avoid both caffeine and exercise, both of which may trigger fatal heart arrhythias, abnormal rhythms or rates in the resting heart. In addition, other dangerous effects include dehydration and electrolyte imbalances (imbalances in blood salts such as sodium), which can also cause cardiac arrhythmias and death.

Constipation is a common complication of anorexia. In fact, many cases of anorexia come to the attention of doctors when anorexics seek out treatment for constipation. Dehydration can arise with severe weight loss, starvation, and abuse of laxatives, so it is not surprising that it is such a common complaint.

As starvation complications become more pronounced, a number of gastrointestinal problems may develop, both in combination with or independent from constipation. Gastrointestinal mobility slows, and it takes longer for the gastric system to empty. Gastric problems such as constipation, bloating, and a sensation of early fullness all tend to suppress the urge to eat, thus speeding up the process of weight loss and starvation.

Excessive water consumption can lead to hyponatremia or water intoxication, in which too much water is ingested too quickly without replenishing electrolytes, especially sodium and potassium. Hyponatremia is a dangerous condition that can cause cerebral swelling, seizures, coma, and even death.

Brittle nails and blotchy yellow skin may both develop due to starvation.

In addition, excessive weight loss and starvation can produce a series of other complications, including:

    depression

    enlarged parotid salivary glands

    hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels)

    hypothermia (low body temperature)

    kidney stones due to dehydration

    rough scaly skin.

Is this the way you want to go?

  9. Not always.

You will lose water weight yes, but to become really skinny you would also need to eat healthy and work out a lot.

  10. Depends on what your eating too.

Like, if you JUST drink water but eat bad stuff too nothing will happen.

  11. Well, I'd hope you'd eat something too..You shouldn't starve yourself but if you only drink water and no sodas and eat properly then I guess you'd see a change. But, make sure you're getting all your vitamins and minerals too. Milk is important for your bones.

  12. You'll be fine, but after a while you'll be so sick of it you wouldn't want to drink any more water in your life, trust me, ive tried.

  13. Yes, but thats awful for you

    please help :)
