What happens if I lose my learner's permit?

I live in Virginia and I kinda lost it and I can't seem to find it (I know it's in the house somewhere but there are too many places to look and it's such a hassle. Do I have to retake the test again to get it and have to wait a long time before I get my permit or can i just get a replacement? (You can get a better chance of best answer if you supply a source like if it's happened to you or if you work for the DMV or something).

If you lost your learners permit, its not a big deal. Just go up to the secatary of state and tell them you lost it and they will reprint another one for you. You wont have to retake any test or anything

Just get a copy of it!

You just get a replacement for it. You don't have to retake the test. It is like losing any other piece of ID they will give you a replacement.
