What happens if I put in a fake credit card number for an Itunes account registration?

I'd like to make an account to download the free stuff. However, I don't want to give them my real credit card number.

They will call the FBI. Then the FBI will trace your computer and bang down the door and kidnap you to their terrorist holdling cells and throw away the key.

Or more likely it won't go thorugh. Just give them the credit card number. My account has been active for years and they never charged me anything I never ordered.

Fake credit card number will be rejected, you will be given another chance to re-enter and if you keep doing the fake, you may be reported, depends on the company. But you definitely won't get to register....The site should note that it is protected and secure...if it is, then your real credit card will be ok..

Fake credit card numbers won't go through. If it does go through, they can track you through your IP address though I don't think they'll do anything.
