What happens if I put too many stamps on an envelope?

I'm going to mail it via USPS

Will they send it back to me saying I used too many stamps?

or...

Will they just mail my envelope.

they just deliver it. Could you imagine how chaotic it would be for them to refund everyone? "Lets send this person 5 cents...and this one 20 cents.." It just wouldnt work. If you put extra postage on something..oh well.

The USPS will deliver your mail as usual. You will not recieve a refund. The mail will be postmarked, voiding all the stamps.

Please don't worry. Your parcel will be processed.  They probably don't have rule about the number of stamps. So you are O.K.  Next time go to the window and buy a the postage and they will just put Pitney Bowles type sticker on your package.
