What happens if Palin is out of the race a few days before the election? ?

I have been saying Palin will go the way of Harriet Miers. If she was put in just so they could slip someone else in that isn't properly vetted or I should say someone we really don't know about that much. Hillary Clinton was examined for 16 years. Are we going to end up with someone else a few months or less before election day that we know nothing about. What are our rights. I don't appreicate people making big decisions like this for me.

Also the vice president should be elected and not just be nominated by only one person. Some day the VP may be president!
