  1. I have noticed that the consequences varies, but normally they get fined and their date of when they are eligible to get their license gets pushed back. For instance, they might get fined $300 plus not being able to get their license until the age of 21 instead of 18.    But like I said, it varies.

  2. Fined, possibly towed and the driver's lic will be suspended for several years.

    Don't get caught!

  3. Doesn't matter if he has insurance or not, you'll probably lose your license for a while, because you weren't driving w/someone over 21. Maybe a year I'd say.

  4. Depends on the state. Most states though now will require you to wait till you are 21 to get a license.

In other words you messed up and will not be driving (legally anyway) or a few more years so I hope your friends have theirs and will drive you around.

Driving is a privilege Not a right. Always remember that.

  5. As the previous posters have said you will likley be fined for unlicsensed driving, or improper liscense.  In addition most states tend to suspend your permit which means you cannot drive at all even with a properly liscensed person over 21.  And they will lilkey push back the date in which you can get your liscense several years, most likley until 21, but I have heard of some states that push it as far back as 25.  Considering that normally most states give permits at 15 or 16 that's a long time not to be able to drive.

Its probably best to not chance it and only drive with the specific pervisions listed with your permit.  17 or 18, whatever the legal age in your state isn't that far away if you already have your permit.  Trust me dirving is not all its cracked up to be.  After you've been doing for a while suddenly it becomes a pretty normal and dull everyday experience.  Just wait it out.
