    Possible fine or jail time.  Up to the judge.


  2. The judge will issue a bench warrant for them for contempt and they will be arrested the next time they are stopped or picked up by the police for any other offense or charge.

  4. I thought Civil Court was when someone has a lawsuit and wants to resolve it in court. If you don't show, the judge has no choice but to take the evidence of the plaintiff and you don't get a chance to defend yourself. So in most cases you'd lose.
