  1. I doupt anything special. All planets have their own orbit speed so this would be extremely rare for all of the planets to align.

  2. The needles of clock align at gap of 12 hours even though they move at different speeds. The same thing happens when planets align.

    Nothing happens!

  3. Exactly diddily squat.

Okay, an alien civilization could observe a small wobble in our Sun's trajectory and say, "Hey, there are probably planets orbitting that star.  Let's not blow it up even if it is obscuring our view of Antares."

    Aliens are so thoughtful.

  4. The same thing that happened to the computers on Y2K. This has already happened in my lifetime...I don't remember the year right off hand but I'm sure somebody will.

  5. At that moment, the sun will be revolving around its maximum "wobble". Thanks mostly to Jupiter. Nothing else will happen though. However, if you were to be on any of the planets and looking toward the sun, you'd see the inner planets, to you, transitting the sun's disc.

  6. Not much I think, but I don't know.

  7. nothing

  8. It has done it many times. It pulls the corona much cloister to us.

  9. Absolutely nothing will happen. This is in the realm of astrology, where all sorts of predictions are based on alignments and none of them ever come true (apart from the number you might expect to happen by pure chance).

  10. The same thing that happens if all the people on Earth stood in a line.   Neither one will ever happen.
