What happens if ciprodex gets in eyes?

my family has pink eye but got the bottles mixed up on accident we are supposed to use the bausch and lomb gentamicin sulfate but we accidently put ciprodex. What are the risk? Thanks

  1. Did you use the one for ears or the one for eyes? If it is the one for your eyes, nothing bad really should happen, it might or might not help with the pink eye. If it is the one that is otic....the one for ears you might be a little irritated by it, or not. I do not think that it is that serious as it is antibiotic/antibacterial in nature with a mild steroid attatched to it. Call your pharmacy and your doctor and make sure. I am not a doctor and there might be something I am missing or do not know.
