Wild bird or pet bird? There's a slightly higher risk for the wild bird to have salmonella, E.Coli, etc, but honestly, if you went and brushed your teeth and maybe used some mouthwash, you're going to be fine.

I would definitely contact a Dr or RN with this question because I do know that bird doodee can have salmonella bacteria in it.  I believe salmonella can cause stomach cramping  and diarrhea, so watch for symptoms of illness!
