I just want to know what would happen. Would they all be referred to special education? Would the school have to adopt a progressive education practice to improve the success of students? In that case, I vote for every student to fail because of our CORRUPT school system. If that's the only way to force schools to NOT be corrupt!

  1. Well if you want to waste a year of your life,go ahead just don't be surprised when you are all alone. If things are that bad parents should be involved there are ways to get change but your way is not one of them.Sorry.Parents work and its your job to go to school and get the best education you can and if you fail that, you fail yourself, your parents and teachers. But you are the real loser, they can all move on you will still be a flunked 9 th grader.

  2. That's a terrific question, and I hope to give you a terrific answer.

    1.  If every student failed in the freshman class, the school would receive so much criticism from the community that it would have to change gears.

    2.  I wouldn't suggest that every student try to fail because that would scar some students for the rest of their lives, especially those who are low functioning and want to get out of school as fast as they can.

    3.  The No Child Left Behind is not a fault of the individual school.  It is the fault of the federal government who doesn't put any funding behind their mandates.

  3. Yea if everyone failed then all the teachers would probably be fired for not teaching correctly. Why because the likly hood of everyone failing is very slim. All though the school would probably investigate it fist before they go and fire the teachers

  4. If I was a 9th grader, I would be totally with you on this one. I think that you should try to organise this at your school just to see what happens. I don't know when you have major exams at school, but the results would be priceless.

  5. all the teachers would be fired..that would never happen though
