What happens if fiction remplaces art?

I have to write a composition about "what happens if fiction remplaces art?" but I don't know what to write.....I'm an italian student please help me ....it is very urgent

The word 'remplaces' does not exist in English.  I think you would have more answers to your question if you changed the wording to:

"What would happen if fiction took the place of art?"

Personally, I feel the question for the composition doesn't make much sense as a large part of art is inspired in fiction.  Indeed you could argue that the creation of fiction is always an artistic process.

Do you mean "replaces"?  Remplaces is not a word.

And it's an odd question even then.  Fiction IS art.  If your professor uses "art" to mean "visual art" or "painting" then s/he is imprecise.

Visual art is just as capable of fiction as literary art.  Salvador Dali's surrealist paintings are the stuff of dreams; Frazetta and the Hillenbrand brothers created fantasy worlds full of dragons and valkyries for book covers and fantasy games; the different varieites of Christianity have employed visual artists to create propaganda for their particular religious biases.

So I suppose the main effect, if literature replaced visual art entirely, would only be that we'd have no visual art to appreciate.  Fiction, narrative, essays, biographies, histories, and technical writing can cover all of the topics that painting ever has.  Moreover, it's easier and cheaper to make fully reliazed copies of literature for everyone (we can copy paintings but the copies are not fully realized--see an original Dali or Monet or Caravaggio and you appreciate it so much more than if seeing a poster or photo)--so optimal access to literature is more available for ordinary people, while currently there are relatively few who get to see the great masterpieces in their best light.
