  1. Well, golgi bodies' function is modification and shipping of proteins throughout the cell... So without them, proteins will not be distributed inside the cell, they would only be in the ribosomes, since ribosomes are for protein synthesis.


  2. Like tralala said, golgi bodies are for modification, but they are also responsible for attaching proteins that aid in packaging. Many chemicals, such as insulin, require the golgi bodies for final packaging before being sent out. Thus, proteins would not be able to reach their final destination such as other cells or even the extracellular matrix.

  3. well, all cell organelles are interconnected with each other. if one's missing, the cell would probably die. to function correctly, we need the golgi bodies.
