What happens if i didnt claim tax return this year. can i still get it?

i had a job last year up until january this year..but i didnt claim tax return...is there any way i can get this money

you have until oct first to file for the economic incentive check, but if you owed taxes that will be deducted from that check, if you were due a refund, then you will get that and the incentive check

First of all, if you dont claim taxes this year you will lose out on the stimulus package that everyone , who pays taxes is getting from the government this year. You need to go to irs.gov and get a phone number and find out what to do. you need to file in order to get money back, however ir you owe you will have to pay penalty fees. But, then you will qualify for some kind of stimulis money.

If you have a refund coming you can file a return anytime in the next three years and get that refund.  If you are talking about the rebate you would need to file by Oct 15th to get the rebate as a check.

You have to file your return but can still qualify for the stimulus check, as long as you meet the requirements and file before Oct. 15th.

If you're expecting just the normal tax refund, you have 3 yrs. from the filing deadline (April 15th, 2008) to claim your 2007 refund.

If you didn't file a tax return but have money coming, go ahead and file now - you won't owe any penalty for being late.
