Since it could be anything from an unpaid ticket to suspicion of murder, they'll cuff you and haul you in where you'll be required to pay the fine plus the arrest and court charges before you're released. Oh yeah, if it's at night you'll spend the night and without your shoes and belt. The floors are pretty yucky as a lot of their patrons are in there drunk and are known to get sick. Pay the fine. My son can attest to the fact that a night in jail, for not paying a ticket, is no fun.

Depending on the state you live in ... all or one of the following will occur

They revoke your drivers license.Then one day you are driving along and when a cop pulls you because you are speeding you get arrested for driving on a revoked license.

They issue a warrent for your arrest because in many cases if you dont pay you are required to show up in court on the date showing on the ticket.

They will make sure they get there money one way or the other so you had better pay it or contest it or else if you dont there is no telling.
