I live in Australia, Sydney btw

Say for example in the hsc, if i dont get the minimum UAI of 95 to enter UNSW for aeronautical engineering. Is it possible to transfer from a college/tafe back to UNSW in the couse of aeronautical engineering by credit transfer from doing well? Or..... do i have to repeat year 12 since Tafe/college only allows you to credit tranfer for lower uai courses? and does a college allow to redo the hsc?

Sorry for asking like a noob, but i am seriously confused. Thanks for your help

  1. Redoing the HSC is usually not an option most people take.  Different Uni's have different  minimum UAI scored you need to reach ... Sydney Uni is usually the highest.  You may need to do the course at a uni further away from you - I have known a couple of people who travelled to Wollongong for uni.  Also, there is an option that if you don't get the marks you need to pay a much larger fee per year for the course.  Most schools have year advisers so i suggest you make an appointment to see yours.  They usually have all the latest info and are qualified to give you the best options to suit you in case you can't do what you are after.
