What happens if i have a watch that is water resistant?

what happens if i have a watch that says 330 ft water resist and i take a shower with it on. Will it get damaged?

  1. IF your taking a shower it might not get that wet. But if it is pure WATER then it wil wreck the battery and it will just not work.

    NOTE: Please dont try this at home


  2. It should be fine BUT it is water resistant not water proof! In other words buyer beware

  3. Water resistent, when speaking of watches, means they are waterproof to the depth of the water stated on its case.  Any water resistant watch should be fine for showering and normal swimming.  It's when diving that you have to be careful.  I have never seen a watch that says "waterproof." They are always listed as being "water resistant."

  4. nothing will happen. just don't push any buttons.
