What happens if i stop taking birth control?

i haven't finished the pack yet but with a busy schedule i sometimes forget or lose a pill and it just seems pointless now.

You get pregnant if you have s*x would be my guess.

If you're having s*x, then you'll need to use another form of contraception (condoms) or you may get pregnant.

If you're just on the pill to regulate your period, then if you stop taking the pack early you'll get your period early.

A cousin of mine did this. Many people gain weight over time by taking birth control,depending on how long you have taken this,you may begin loosing weight.And if your period become irregular as oppose to when you were on the pill,it is because you stopped taking it.

The only thing that will happen if you stop taking your birth control is that you will end up pregnant. You need to start sticking to a schedule and that way you wont forget or lose a pill. Leave them somewhere in your bathroom or where you will see them every day and take them the same time every day. That way if you do this in the morning you don't have to take them anywhere and you wont lose a pill. I used to forget alot too. Thant's why i switched birth control methods. I now have Mirena its an IUD and you don't have to remember to take a pill or change it. Before that I was on the patch. That wasn't bad either you just had to remember once a week to change it.

NO!  you can still get prego days after having s*x!!   dont just stop.   Read the little pamphlet that comes with it, and it gives directions for if you miss days.  I have been on the pill for like 8 years, and im about to go off of them due to migraines and problems i have developed.   BUT for the first like year and a half, i set my cell phone alarm to the same time each day.  It totally helps.  Also, i would loose pills randomly (like drop it on the ground and then cant find it)  so i just paid for another pack when i got my pack and kept it aside.  That way, i had a whole pack of them as a back up if i dropped one or needed one.  But i would not reccommend just stoping them in the middle of the pack if you have had s*x AT ALL within the last month.  good luck!
