I know that in america if one makes a call using *67 it will hide your phone number from caller id.

But what happens if i call from a foreign country, could i still call using this *67 thing? would it work? is it the same if i call a cell phone?

  1. If you're calling from a foreign country, why should you even care whether your number is blocked or not.

  2. I think if it does work, it would work the same on a cell phone as a line line would, only because the caller ID codes that you are blocking and the caller ID system that transmits the codes, or the lack of, are the same on a cell as a land line.

Now, I bet it could work if your counry's codes would allow that to happen, if it don't you may want to look into a calling service like

www.telespoof.com or ureach.com that you can call via and would alter your caller ID.

The difference between the two web services is ureach.com gives you a toll free number that would appear on caller ID and telespoof.com gives you the option of putting all zero's or any number that you want to appear on caller ID>

  3. It has worked for me by callin a cell phone but it should work callin from a foreign country because all phone lines r connected and it is suppose to work through all phones
