I have my business studies exam in a few days and i have looked at past papers and i see that there alot of the answers id be better at answering if i could plan. But there is no space to write in other than the leave blank box.

If i wrote in the leave blank box, would it just not scan my brief plan or would it make the scanning unsuccessful etc. The plan i make i dont want it marked so i dont mind it not getting scanned in but will it affect me at all or??

Please answer only if ur possitive.

  1. You could always write on the 'blank page' in pencil lightly, and rub it out. But it's probably advisable not to write in it...

You might be able to ask for extra paper on the day?

Good luck with the exam! :)

  2. you would definatly get mark down for being unable to follow instructions

  3. You will get the answer wrong if you leave it blank. Put a little note if your answer won't fit the space and write it in the back.

  4. I personally wouldn't write in it as it says 'leave blank' and you will not be following the exam instructions if you write on it. I had the same problem with an English Literature exam when i was at college, i asked for some spare paper which they gave me, ask your teacher if you will able to use a blank sheet of paper just to make plans on, i can't see there would be any problem in doing so. Good Luck!!

  5. If you need to write in the "Leave Blank" section, always write where you are meant to write (ie on the given lines)that you have written there so the examiner knows where to look as it will not have been scanned in.

Also, request for extra paper. If you want to submit the answers on the paper, attach it to your paper. Otherwise leave it on the desk.

  6. We were always told that the "leave blank" space was there for a specific admin reason, and if we wrote in it, our exam would be null en void.

You really should ask your lecturer for your institutions specific policies on writing in the blank space, or what they can suggest you do for your "plan".

Best of luck with your exam.

  7. ask whoever is giving you the test if you are allowed to bring scrap paper. you should not write in the leave blank area.
