  1. because not having insurance is illegal , its on u u would be blamed  anyway and charged with no insurance so i would just fix it or sell it an not report it.

  2. Liability insurance is mandated in most areas, but it is still legal to not have insurance for collision and comprehensive. As long as you have liability insurance there is no problem.

Check with your agent to see if you have "uninsured motorist" coverage. If you do, that will cover a hit and run.

If you do not have coverage, you will have to pay for the repairs out of pocket, unless the driver of the striking vehicle is found.

    Sorry

  3. you either come up with the money to fix your car, or sell it as is to somebody who can fix it up.

  4. If you have no insurance then you are on your own to fix your own car.

If you had a license plate you could still sue for damages in small claims or put in a claim with their insurance company.

No info on the other party, you are out of luck.  Sorry.

  5. well for starters what planet do you  live on where insurance isnt manditory??????? and to answer you r question yep itsucks that you were hit but i'd say its tuff shi_ cause you had no coverage! sorry

  6. You may be in violation of your state's laws. Most states have laws that require you to carry at least a minimum amount of liability. If you reported the incident to the police and they asked for proof of insurance, you are still in violation and may be summoned to court.

If you carry no insurance and the other guy is not located and no report was filed, you most likely will be responsible for paying your own damage.

If the guy is found and report was filed AND the other guy IS cited, most likely he will pay if he has insurance.

However...I'm very inclined to say the guy hit and ran because he either had no insurance or had another outstanding warrant against him and didn't want to be honest.
