what happens if my sons circumcision came out bad?

my son has a recessed p***s (where his p***s is half still inside his body) what happens if the doctor cut away tooo much skin and he doesnt have enough skin to let it grow? will he have a smaller p***s? will his skin stretch out to accomodate his growing p***s? will his p***s start to bend? when he gets an erection i can feel that most of his p***s is still INSIDE yet he doesnt have enough skin ... im worried for him that he will have a smaller than average p***s because of this problem.

  1. You usually can't tell until they are fully grown (adult) and then circumcised men sometimes do experience painful or too tight erections or the scrotal skin being pulled up the p***s due to too much skin being removed than they were young. Or it can cause a very curved p***s if too much skin was removed from one side. I believe some people need further surgery after this. But it probably won't be noticed until he's much older. This is one of the reasons I am against circumcision.

  2. This is why circumcision is a bad idea to begin with! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

  3. Leave that precious skin alone!!! he will have a smaller p***s and it could bend, leave it alone!!!!!!  No need for that procedure anyways.

  4. dont worry about what ifs.  many babies have this. it is called buried p***s. as the baby grows, it will take care of itself.  first thing you should do is go see your baby's pediatrician.  If you are not happy with his answer, go see a different one for a second opinion.  anyway good lukc with your new son.

    you should join this group:

they have over 1000 moms with circumcised babies.  They are a good support group for you.  They discuss all aspects of babies' circumcision.

    hope this helps.

  5. A f******n is a f******n. Your son's p***s may need to develop a bit more but a f******n only covers the head of the p***s,

The Doctor most likely has done hundreds of these procedures. I'm sure everything is fine.

It sounds like your son may have a problem with his p***s. That is not the Doctors fault.

I'm sure he snipped the f******n just fine.

If it is messed up (which I doubt) sue the Doctor later and have it done correctly.

Warning: It is never a good idea to sue a Doctor unless he did irreparable harm to you.

A circumcision can be fixed at any time.

  6. Generally boys with your sons condition end up being ok. As the grow older the fat pad recedes and the p***s reemerges.

A few boys, however, will have life long problems from the procedure. Unfortunately if too much skin was removed, it will not grow back. This can lead to bent erections, painful erections, even bleeding erections. Sometimes this can be surgically fixed, although his p***s will never be as good as it was before anybody cut it at all.

Here is a video of a young man who had too much skin removed from his p***s.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qw9AH0FBO...

Medically there is not much you can do until your son has gone through puberty- then he will be able to tell you if there is a problem. Before puberty it is inadvisable as it will be hard to judge the extent of the problem.

Legally, you can certainly sue the doctor who botched the procedure, although how sucessful you will be is questionable, since removing too much is an inherent risk to the procedure.

I hope your son turns out to be ok! -Neb

  7. he'll be fine

  8. it may never heal right, the damage done during circumcision can take till puberty to discover and then there's little that can be done

  9. My sisters little boy did that when he was a baby.  She was also nervous about it.  He is perfectly normal now.

I'm not sure its the same thing so see a different pediatrician than the one who gave him the circumcision.  If they made a mistake then it needs to be fixed.
