Question:

What happens if my wife did not show up for the first immigration interview for green card ?

i am married to an american citizen i have an interview in few days for the first green card i had a fight with her few days ago and i am not sure if she is planning to come with me or not the question is if i go by my self with all the proofs the photos ( which they are a lot ) and my lawer will i get my green card or i will be declined coz she is not with me , let me know as soon as possible please , thank you

I would think that they may reschedule you or decline you based on the fact that your wife is not present.  They are very clear in their expectations and on your notice it says that your spouse must be present.  Remember, they are trying to validate your marriage is real in every sense of the word and want to make you have not commited marriage fraud in which you married to obtain a green card.  Kiss and make up and get her to the meeting.  This is important.
