  1. most house rules are if the eight ball is sunk on the break and the cueball remains on the table that person wins the game automatically.  after the break if the eight ball is sunk before all your other balls are off the table you lose.

  2. The 8-ball made out of turn constitutes a loss. If you are going to play pool, try to avoid playing anyplace that has "house" rules. Join the APA pool league in your area. They have 250,000 active amateur pool players Nationwide, including Canada and Japan. Their web site has a complete set of rules for 8-ball and 9-ball that are used consistently wherever you play APA pool. The site can also tell you where a league is in your area.

  3. No black in Billiards so I guess your talking about 8ball the pool game

    Whoever made it loses

  4. If you make the 8 before making your 7 suited balls you loose.  If you make the 8 on the break it is either a rerack or spot the 8.  It doesn't make sense for it to be a win on the break because you didn't pocket the 7 previous balls with is what the game of 8 ball is all about.  But however there are a lot of old bar leaguers that think they know all about rules and will tell you different.  But that is a different question all together... haha
