  1. game is played again the following week.

  2. they played again the next week in 1977 when Collingwood and North Melbourne drew

  3. A complete replay from 0-0 the next week. It has happened twice, 1977 and 1948.

1977--Collingwood-North Melbourne, North won the replay.

    1948--Melbourne-Essendon, Melbourne won the replay.

  4. I'm not sure but i should imagine it would just be extra time........

  5. **They play again the next Saturday to see who wins, unlike the finals where there is an extra ten minutes played (five minutes for each side).

I think if it was to happen today in footy then they should just play extra time as it's unfair to expect all the supporters to fork out the extra money to go to the game again given how expensive finals tickets are.**

  6. there has only ever been one draw in a grand final, and it was the first time it was televised! Teams come back the next week for a replay if its a draw.

  7. It would be replayed the next week with another GF parade.

  8. dude r u serious its like the most simple question

u continue on the next week ina whole new game

  9. extra time. just like the game in 2007 when collingwood draw west coast 72-72. then they had 2 extra time qith 15 mins each...

    luckily collingwood won!!!!!!!!!!!

    go pies!!!!!!!!!

  10. I think if it's a grand final they have a replay the next week, but I know that for all other finals they play extra time. I think they should have extra time in the Grand Final, because playing the next week puts teams off.

  11. they play again the following week

  12. its replayed the next week.

its happened twice....once in 1977 (i think...) between Collingwood and North (north won the next week)

and it happened a few years later..but forget which one and who was in it.

any other final (like elimination, semi and preliminary) just goes into 10 minute extra time (5 mins each way)...then repeating that process until there is a winner.

  13. I thought that they played anouther game the weekafter.

    REMATCH!

Thats what happened in my local league footy last year.

  14. replay the next week in the g/f and extra time in all other finals

  15. My god I'm gona be smashed lol

    alcohol poisoning to the max!

Ps. Seriously i recon it' a fu*ken joke that the GF is played the next week. Just the AFL trying to squeeze more money out of the average footy fan (thumbs down)
