  1. This is what the famous Hitler was trying to destroy the world. His idea is if the moon fell on earth the water at the ocean will come out of sea and the land will be immersed in sea water.

  2. It is not possible for the moon to strike the earth.  In fact, the moon was part of the earth until 4320 million years ago, and the moon has been moving away from the earth ever since.  It is still doing so -- at about an inch a year.

  3. it wouldn't matter wheather the moon was full or not, it would still kill many people.

  4. Everyone above me's answered it - but I want to clarify something you said: "...if the full moon hit earth..."  The moon itself doesn't actually change size; what changes is the percentage of moon we can see from earth.  So, the impact of a 'new moon' hitting earth would be the same as the impact of a 'full moon' hitting earth.

  5. That would definitely kill all large life forms on earth. Possibly killing Earth itself.

  6. if an object the size of the moon struck the earth it would literally destroy the entire surface of the planet. Consider that the asteroid that was responsible for destroying the dinosaurs was only a small fraction of the size of the moon. (between 6 and 15 miles in diameter)

the moon was originally part of the earth until a large collision ripped away the material that later coalesced into the moon

  7. Full moon? Doesn't matter.

The earth would be destroyed as in no life.

  8. People would likely be wiped out if the moon hit the earth.  It would be like two planets colliding.  Whomever the impact doesn't kill, the environmental after-effects would finish off.
