I know about the hosts getting the home ties, but I do not understand what happens when two host teams have a match in the knock out stage then who will host that much?

In that case the team who was ranked higher as per ICC one day rankings will have the upper hand..

In  that case venues will be decided by the seedings for the tournament with India ranked above Sri Lanka, and the Lankans above Bangladesh.
