What happens if u leave apple juice open??

i heard somewhere that if u leave apple juice open for long enough it will ferment and become alcoholic drank ... is this true and does it also work for other juices??

  1. in order for it to ferment it just needs to sit for awhile (like weeks). If opened and not refrigerated it will just sour.

    that is so childish that you get your alcohol by fermenting fruit juice

    thats like how kids get their drugs from inhalants

    If you want apple juice that's alcoholic, buy hard cider.

  7. Yes it will ferment and eventually will turn into a NASTY smelling and heard it does make its own alcohol BUT...it is NOTHING you would probably want to drink!

  9. Only unprocessed will ferment on it's own, and not every time.  If you added your own yeast it would work more consistently.  There is beer and wine made with wild yeast that was one the skins but half the time you end up with vinegar.
