Well, it depends, if u r so engrossed in your study that u forget about time, keep going and refrain from interrupting yourself on purpose, cos it's a condition that is both intellectually informative and unconsciously satisfactory.

However, if u find what u r learning boring and uninspiring, make sure u get enough breaks so that u can focus your attention upon it while studying.

Long hour? this is a good way to make you mind stressed.

I never study like that, i always take a break in some minutes, it helps me concentrate a lot.
