What happens if we add 1 second to every minute?

Wouldnt this be good? We would have 1 minute extra per hour and 24 extra minutes every day

no that would be terrible it would throw everything off and everything would be changed and odd

Well over a year we would work an extra 48 hours just by this slight change.

then it wouldn't be a "day". a day is 23.934 hours, to add 24 extra minutes would change the definition of a "day".
