What happens if you are 18 and get caught gambling in las vegas?

It depends on how they feel about it.  They may just kick you out, they may have you arrested.  They will probably take your chips, since you cannot profit from an illegal act.

It's really pointless gambling there.  If you win any kind of decent money, you will need to show two forms of ID.  If you use fake ID you are messing with the IRS, which can lead to jail time.

Since there are cameras everywhere, I don't imagine you would last too long before being spotted anyway.

Most likely you won't be able to, since you will almost certainly get an ID check before you sit at a table. If you play the slots, you may get away with it for a little while, but don't count on it.

If you do it, play dumb if you get caught, act embarrassed and apologize, and say you did not know the law, since you can gamble at many casinos at 18.

Depending on the casino, you will lose anything you have in the machine and be escorted out. In most cases they will not prosecute, and you won't go to jail, but the escort out might get a bit rough! They will not be nice, since you jeapordized their license!

They had a program on TV the other night about people breaking gambling laws in Nevada. Believe me you don't want to get caught breaking their laws.They have a prison there and it is full. One guy is serving a life sentence for cheating numerous times. Don't try it. They are very strict and they will catch you.

You have to surrender every casino chip you have, even if you just bought them.  If you aren't arrested then you will at least be kicked out and served with a tresspassing warning if you should attempt to enter the casino doors.

I am las vegas dealer, so I kow this for a fact.   You will be escorted out of the casino and if you won anything, they take it.

Just look at "California". You most likely won't get caught or anything, because you're a legal age for most of the gambling machines.
