    The nine-ball is respotted and the other player is awarded ball in hand.

My Son is a pool shark in his area...and for sure the person who broke , sank the nice ball, and also the cue ball...Definetely...he lost and game over...and the other person is up next...Would of been a great game if he wouldn't of sank the cue ball....Best I could do to answer hope this was helpful...
